Chickens are born hairless
Originally business ornamental chickens and fighting cocks, Mr. Truong Hai Phong (34 years old, living on Tan Loc Island, Thot Not District, Can Tho City) ) regularly buys imported chicken breeds to breed and trade chicken breeds.
Once, Mr. Phong imported a pair of Peruvian chickens (worth more than 50 million VND) to Vietnam for breeding.
When breeding, the chicken laid a strange 9 eggs. When the chicken eggs hatched, all of them had feathers, only one had no feathers. To his surprise, he raised that chicken separately in a glass cage as a warming lamp for the chickens.
According to Mr. Phong, he was able to raise a tiny chicken with a few sparse feathers that transformed into a big chicken. Being strong and muscular like a warrior is a process. While stroking his pet chicken, Mr. Phong confided: “For 5 straight months, I raised it in a glass cage and fed it thin porridge and rice. Raising it is no different from raising a newborn baby. As it grows older, the chicken is stronger and stronger than me. Let it out to keep it cool.”
According to Mr. Phong’s observations, Phong’s chicken has a fairly well-proportioned body and a large, bright red comb. Toan The chicken’s body has no feathers, only the wings and legs have a few short feathers.
Because there is no protective feather layer, this chicken is very sensitive to the weather. When the weather turns cold, the chicken’s comb and skin turn pale, Mr. Phong must dry the chicken in the sun to warm it up or put it in a sheltered place to avoid the wind. To prevent the chickens from being bitten by mosquitoes, Mr. Phong puts the chickens to sleep under a mosquito net and applies turmeric medicine to repel mosquitoes.
Many people say that I plucked all of its feathers from this chicken, but It’s really not like that. If you look at its skin, you will see that this chicken is naturally featherless because the skin has no pores and is very soft. If it has hair, even if it is removed, it will still leave pores and after a while the hair will continue to grow,” Mr. Phong explained.
Extreme hobby < strong>luxurious
In addition to having a “unique” appearance, Mr. Phong’s 2-year-old chicken also has a very interesting hobby. Instead of eating rice like his peers Chickens like to eat rice, seafood and especially fruit.
Every day, Mr. Phong feeds his chickens three times a day, but must have one meal of fruits that this chicken often enjoys like papaya watermelon mango banana… in which durian is its favorite dish.
