In which zone 2 has a total area of ​​more than 325 hectares in the wards: Ba Ngoi, Cam Linh, Cam Loi, Cam Thuan and Cam Phu. The expected population size is about 57,000 people.

According to planning, residential land in area 2 has an area of ​​more than 97 hectares (accounting for 30% of the entire area); Land for public services and social infrastructure is more than 38 hectares (accounting for 1169% of the entire area); Green land and water surface are about 36 hectares (accounting for 1,124% of the entire area).

Area 3 has a total area of ​​nearly 315 hectares in the wards: Cam Phuc Nam, Cam Phuc Bac, Cam Nghia. The expected population size is more than 54,000 people.

In early April 2023, the Cam Ranh Bay Urban Area project was approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy.

In August 2023, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued an investment policy. issued a decision to approve the project investor for the Joint Venture of Cam Ranh Investment Joint Stock Company – Vinhomes Joint Stock Company – Vines Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company.

The project has a large scale land use of more than 1,250 hectares; population size of more than 230,000 people; Total investment capital is more than 85,000 billion VND, equivalent to 35 billion USD (excluding compensation and resettlement support costs); 5-year implementation schedule starting in 2023.
