On November 7, Kien Giang Provincial Police detained Mr. Tran Thien Thi (64 years old, residing in An Bien district) for 4 months to investigate the crime of Irresponsibility causing serious consequences.
Mr. Thi is the Head of An Bien Notary Office, also the notary of the office.

Through the initial investigation from July 2018 to the end of 2018, Mr. Thi let his employees go out and receive 2 pre-signed land transfer contracts from others and then brought them back for Mr. Thi to sign for confirmation.
However, both of these contracts are fake landowner signatures.
Mr. Thi’s actions have caused damage to people. more than 10 billion VND.
Currently, Kien Giang Provincial Police continue to investigate and clarify the case.
