Artist Di Thao’s real name is Tran Yen Thao, born in 1966, the son of director Tran Van Sau (author of HTV’s drama showIndoors and Streets).
From a young age, Di Thao followed her father to pursue art. He is one of the child actors who played the role of little Sang in the play Durian Leaves by the Kim Cuong Drama Troupe. Later, Di Thao joined the Cuu Long Giang drama troupe.

Di Thao is the husband of actor Hoang Trinh – one of the veteran female artists of the Idecaf theater stage, was a member of the famous Liu Lo group in the 90s of Ho Chi Minh City Television.
