Benefit levels for people with meritorious services are according to new standards

Pursuant to Decree 75/2021/ND-CP regulating the levels of benefits, allowances and preferential regimes for people with meritorious services to the revolution (hereinafter abbreviated as people with meritorious services) in effect Effective from September 15, 2021, the standard level of preferential benefits for meritorious people is 1,624,000 VND, much higher than the previous standard level (applied since 2012) of 1,110,000 VND.< /p>

Applying this new standard, the monthly allowance of people with meritorious services increases quite high. The highest is the heroic Vietnamese mother who receives a monthly allowance of 4,872,000 VND and an allowance of 1,361,000 VND. The monthly allowance for relatives of 1 martyr also increased to 1,624,000 VND, relatives of 2 martyrs is 3,248,000 VND, and relatives of 3 or more martyrs is 4,872,000 VND.

The monthly allowance for war invalids who enjoy the same policy as war invalids with the highest physical injury rate (100%) increased to 5,207,000 VND. The monthly allowance for wounded soldiers with the lowest rate of physical injury (21%) is 1,094,000 VND.

The monthly allowance for invalids of type B also increases proportionally. The lowest rate of physical damage (21% damage) is 904,000 VND, the highest (100% damage) is 4,308,000 VND.

The monthly allowance for sick soldiers depends on the rate of physical damage The lowest (41%-50%) is 1,695,000 VND, the highest (91%-100%) is 4,137,000 VND. Sick soldiers with a physical injury rate of 81% or more also receive an allowance of 815,000 VND, while serving them receive an allowance of 1,624,000 VND. Sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 81% or more and particularly severe illnesses are given an allowance of 1,624,000 VND. Their servants are given an allowance of 2,086,000 VND.

Special with the new standard level This one-time preferential allowance for people with meritorious services and their relatives has increased very high. At the highest level, relatives of people who participated in the revolution before January 1, 1945 and died without receiving preferential treatment will receive a subsidy of 31 times the standard level (50,344,000 VND). Worshipers will receive a subsidy of 62 times. standard level (10,068,000 VND).

Many other groups of people with meritorious services also receive a one-time subsidy equal to 20 times the standard level (32,480,000 VND) who are relatives of martyrs or heirs of martyrs. martyrs are awarded the Fatherland Certificate posthumously; Heroic Vietnamese mothers were awarded titles but died without receiving preferential treatment or being posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers; Hero of the People’s Armed ForcesHero of Labor during the resistance period was awarded titles but died without receiving preferential treatment or was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the People’s Armed ForcesHero of Labor during the period resistance.

In addition, Decree 75/2021/ND-CP also stipulates in detail preferential regimes for people with meritorious services such as contributions insurance health care for home health recovery nursing (09 times the standard rate/1 person/1 time) centralized health recovery nursing support (18 times the standard rate /1 person/1 time)…

Supports for assistive devices, orthopedic devices, and rehabilitation equipment; Travel and food expenses when working as orthopedic aids; Support in visiting martyrs’ graves; Support in moving martyrs’ remains; Identifying the remains of martyrs; Funeral allowance; Allowances for worshiping martyrs… are also clearly regulated in Decree 75/2021/ND-CP.
