Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong’s son appears for the first time

According to information from the Group Vingroup (stock code: VIC) today (December 18), VinFast car company and Marubeni Group officially announced a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on cooperation in battery reuse. Electric vehicles aim to develop a circular economy. Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh – Deputy General Director of VinFast production division – representative of the Vietnamese electric vehicle company signed a memorandum of understanding. 

Member The memorandum of understanding marks an important step forward in the strategic partnership between the two sides as well as making a strong contribution to the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Vietnam and the world.

Public work announced a memorandum of cooperation between VinFast and Marubeni were carried out under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh within the framework of the Vietnam – Japan Economic Forum and the summit commemorating 50 years of ASEAN partnership – Japan takes place in Tokyo from December 16 to December 18.

According to the agreement, VinFast and Marubeni will cooperate in research and production of systems battery energy storage system (BESS) from battery used electric vehicle . In which, VinFast will be the supplier of electric vehicle batteries; Marubeni is responsible for assessing the feasibility of technical consulting and implementing BESS installation.

The two sides also cooperate to promote business opportunities in the field of used electric vehicle batteries. aiming to establish a circular economy model.

It is expected that Marubeni will apply exclusive technology from strategic partners to reuse VinFast electric vehicle batteries to develop into BESS at a low price. Reasonable price, easy production without dismantling, processing and repackaging the battery.

Thus, through today’s event, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh – son of Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of the Association Vingroup board of directors – appeared before the media for the first time. At the same time, Vingroup also officially confirmed the leadership role of Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh at VinFast, which plays an important role in the strategic development direction of Vingroup.
