The first days of school are also the It was a difficult day for Chung Minh. At that time, there were not many Khmer people in the class, mainly Kinh people. The Khmer boy was often teased by his friends for speaking incorrectly and with a lisp. But the class was fun and no one was mean to him That gentle Khmer boy, Chung Minh recalled: “At that time, I went fishing in the morning to find shrimp and fish for a more cozy meal, but going to school was fun I was always there to encourage me, so I wanted to go to school very much.”
And the “word” along with the encouragement of his father made Chung Minh go. end of high school road in hometown.
After graduating from high school, when his father passed away from illness, his mother sent him to a temple in Can Tho to study. Studying for university exams. Always remember what your father told Chung Minh to be determined to study at university even though he did not know what the path ahead was. Among the seven siblings, Chung Minh was the only one to study at the university level.
Started his education by going to preparatory university and then took the entrance exam to Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Remembering the first years of setting foot in Chung Minh City, I still cannot forget the difficulties that a poor student encountered: “My mother was very poor and had no money to send. To make ends meet, I had to work as a hired laborer. I still remember my first job as a lifeguard at Dam Sen water park. I was paid 40 thousand/day and had food 1 lunch. For me, that’s a lot of money. Later, I participated in many things. During Tet, there was the Spring Flower Festival, and I also worked part-time during Tet days. So during my years of schooling, I never got to return home for Tet.”
Talking about the reason for sticking with the pharmaceutical industry, Chung Minh said that when he was young, there was only one store in Cau Ke district. Small Western medicine. People need to buy too much medicine and the pharmacy is too small. From then on, he always dreamed of doing something related to pharmaceuticals to better meet the needs of the people.
From that dream Chung Minh always closely monitors pharmaceutical industry activities. And during the internship period, he was lucky enough to have a teacher let him stay and help with the pharmaceutical business at the City Pharmaceutical Trade Center. HCM.

After graduating, Chung Minh continued to work at the Pharmaceutical Trade Center and very soon started the pharmaceutical business and achieved unexpected success. He founded Samaki Pharmaceuticals in 2008 and has been attached to the pharmaceutical industry until now.

I think within my ability, if I can help them have some leverage, their lives can go much further.”
Mixing together his dreams, ambitions, aspirations, passion and love, Chung Minh decided to change the name Samaki Pharmaceutical into Samaki Power to be more comprehensive. He explained the meaning of Samaki Power: “I think that name represents the intersection of East and West cultures. The word Samaki originates from the Khmer language and is understood in Vietnamese as “solidarity” and the word Power originates from English and is understood as “strength”. strong.”
