For me, this return is a fate in my career. I received an invitation to participate in the movie “Way to the Flower Country” from the producer very coincidentally. Even the producers didn’t think I would return to acting.
In the past years, when I left dramas, I only focused on working in theater and business outside. However, during that time, I never stopped loving my job. I just needed a suitable time to rearrange my life and regain my spirit after many events so that I could do my job with all my mind and passion. no longer under pressure for anything.
This is the right time to return to the audience and I was also very lucky when director Vu Minh Tri trusted me to play the role of Hoa in movie this time.
During the time she was “hiding” away from the screen, she felt like she was alone. gain what and lost what?
To be honest, even though I don’t act in movies, I often watch TV dramas. I myself have had the time to become a real audience to enjoy movies and clearly feel the transformation of Vietnamese movies in recent years. Along with that, I also feel the special feelings that the audience has for the drama. Every time I see my friends and colleagues appear on the screen, I really miss my job and crave being able to make movies. I crave being able to return to the screen to contribute.
The time I decided to stay away from the screen to focus on working at the Youth Theater and running my own business was also when I experienced many family events. I took that time to calm down, change myself and find a new way of thinking to start a new, happier and more joyful life.
After the events in both marriage and work, I realized how strong I am. Many people say that on the outside I am gentle and weak, suitable for gentle rural roles on screen, but deep inside I am a strong and daring personality who dares to change and face anything. what happens?
I realized that I gained more than I lost. I am still welcomed and supported by the audience even though I have been absent from the screen for a long time. I have friends and colleagues who always support me and are by my side in every life event.
If I were to talk about regrets during that time away from filming, perhaps I would only regret having missed a lot of time and opportunities to contribute to the audience.
The character of Ms. Hoa (actor Dam Hang) and Uncle Lam (actor Thanh Binh) are receiving great attention from the audience and the audience is actively “pushing the boat”, so how do you feel about the love story of this “old couple”? on screen?
The love story of couples Hoa and Lam actually has many storms and difficulties. It is true that the two have feelings for each other, but the difference is so great that their love life is not going smoothly.
Mr. Lam has good economic conditions and a gentle and friendly personality. Hoa is just a flower seller in front of Mr. Lam’s house and a sincere farmer. Mr. Lam lives in a situation where he is raising his children while Ms. Hoa is an unmarried woman and also has feelings for Mr. Lam but does not dare to open her heart because her younger brother opposes her.

It’s true that 2-3 years ago I was very shy about sharing my personal life with the audience. I used to think that marital events were nothing to be proud of, but now I think differently. Who knows, there are many viewers who have gone through and will go through family events like me and the story I share will perhaps bring a more positive and optimistic perspective to the audience who always love and follow me.
Love and marriage are miracles that happen in this universe when two hearts and two different souls meet and understand and love each other. The relationship between husband and wife is sacred and I always cherish it, but no matter how much we love each other, husband and wife are still two separate individuals with different thoughts, different souls and different emotions.
If you can be lucky enough to be in harmony until the end of your life, that is what everyone wants, but when living together two souls cannot be in harmony, the best choice can only be to break up.
Both my ex-husband and I thought we would try to compromise so that our children would not be disadvantaged. For 5 years we broke up and got back together, but it was a mistake that we only realized now. A tree with pests should have its leaves pruned or even its branches cut off so that it can grow strong, even though it is not perfect, it will still be a healthy tree.
Marriage is the same, even though we choose to break up, we still become good friends who can share all the joys and sorrows in life and raise our children together in a civilized way. After all, holding hands until the end of life is still fate, and if it’s fate, you can’t force it.
I used to feel very sad at the thought of an incomplete marriage, but now my soul is freer, lighter, and happier. Looking back on the difficult journey that has passed, I realize that divorce at the right time is the right thing to be happy at the right time.
So at the present time Have you found “true happiness” for yourself yet?
I think there is no need to look elsewhere for happiness that comes from within your heart. Changing my thinking means changing my life. I am happy because I have a very mature and understanding daughter.
She is a great motivation in my life, sometimes she is like my best friend. I can comfortably share work and love stories with my children. Sometimes she is also my emotional “guru”.
I read more books meet more people to listen and share. I found positive energy from there to make myself increasingly happy. I find for myself the little joys in life, sometimes I just need to make a pot of tea and take it to the balcony to sip and read a favorite book. One minute of silence in the heart can resolve all worries.
After all, if you want a peaceful life, you first need to be quiet in the mind.
She shared that her daughter understands things and she considers her child as a close friend and is ready to share all the joys and sorrows. So when she saw her mother come back to the screen, what was her reaction?
To be honest, my daughter doesn’t watch the new movie I star in (laughs). I just asked: “Why don’t you watch the movie mom plays?”. She said because she felt that at this age she did not want to watch the content of the movie “Way to the Flower Country” (laughs).
One night, when I went to bed, my daughter whispered: “I don’t watch the movies you play, but that doesn’t mean I don’t support you.” Deep inside I know my children are proud of me and always support me on my artistic path.
When I’m busy filming or working at the theater, my daughter always calls to ask if I’m tired and how work is going and always says the same thing: “Mom, just keep working and I’ll be able to take care of myself.” “. I don’t know why she understands and says those things, but she is the most proud and happiest I have in this life.
< em>So are you ever afraid that one day when your daughter grows up and gets married you will live alone?
No! I never thought I would one day be alone. My close friends and I used to think that in the future we would go to a nursing home together and happily talk to each other every day. Or if we have better conditions, we can contribute money together to buy land to build a small house and enjoy our old age by building a small garden to raise a flock of chickens and puppies for fun at home. Every day, it’s fun to catch worms and take care of chickens, drink tea and chat like that (laughs).
Having gone through so many incidents in love, will he know in the future? Is Dam Hang ready to open his heart to receive new love?
I will still love and love as hard as the first time. This life without love would be boring. That love is not necessarily the love between a man and a woman, it can be the love of work, the love of family, the love of the little things in life.
