Four-legged snake appears in Nghe An

The dark brown snake has no scales and has 4 legs.
After the flood, when the water receded from the house on the evening of October 24, Mr. Hoang Van T. (Koa Da hamlet, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An) spread a mat on the floor to eat. After eating, he folded the mat to hide his fire when he saw the snake wriggling and trying to run out of the house.
The snake is about 15cm long, about the size of a chopstick, has a small, tapered head, is dark brown and has no scales. In particular, the snake also has 4 legs. Four legs like four oars prove effective when running away on land and swimming very quickly in water. Because the snake has dark brown and smooth skin that looks like an earthworm, people here still call it the tun snake.
Tun snakes often appear appears in flood.
According to People here, this snake is very poisonous. If bitten by a snake, the victim’s wound will swell and quickly become paralyzed, and if not treated promptly, it will lead to death. They often appear after heavy rain or floods. The snake was killed after being discovered. Fortunately, no one in the house was bitten by a snake.
