According to investigation records, in August 2022, Ms. B.T.P. wanted to buy land in Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province, so she joined land buying and selling groups on the social network Facebook.
Here, Ms. P. met a land broker named Q. and was introduced by this person to Bui Van Tuan.
Through the discussion, Tuan introduced and led Ms. P. into the protective forest area (Muong Phoi area, Man Duc town, Tan Lac district) and told him that he was purchasing land in the area. This is about 5 hectares.
After Ms. P. agreed to buy the land, Tuan went online to order a fake land use right certificate in his name to trick the victim. Ms. P. transferred more than 1,4 billion VND to Tuan. Ms. P. later learned that she had been deceived and reported it to the police.
At the police station, Bui Van Tuan confessed to all acts of falsifying land use rights certificates to deceive and sell. to Ms. P. for 1.7 billion VND and received from her an amount of 1.4 billion VND.
The case is being investigated and clarified by the Tan Lac District Police.
