Bermaz Auto Philippines, the official distributor of Mazda in the Philippines, has just launched the Mazda CX-60 2023 model.
In this market, the Mazda CX-60 is imported completely from Japan with two versions: CX-60 3.3L AWD Turbo price 2 79 million PHP (about 1 17 billion VND) and CX-60 3.3L AWD Turbo-D Sport price 2 89 million PHP (about 1 22 billion VND).
At that price CX-60 more expensive than model Toyota RAV4 Hybrid (price from 2 62 million PHP equivalent to 1 1 billion VND) but still cheaper than BMW X3 (price 3 89 million PHP equivalent to 1 64 billion VND ) or Lexus NX (price 3,44 million PHP equivalent to 1,45 billion VND).
Is Mazda’s first model to use the chassis platform for large CX-60 large cars with a front-mounted engine and full-time 4-wheel drive.
The car is 4,745mm long, 1,890mm wide, 1,680mm high with a wheelbase of 2,870mm.
The CX-60 is Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model, but unfortunately the two versions launched in the Philippines are not equipped with this engine.
Instead, it is a gasoline engine and 3.3L turbocharged 6-cylinder diesel engine combined with a 48V mild-hybrid system.
The turbocharged e-Skyactiv-G 3.3L gasoline engine produces 280 horsepower and 450Nm of torque, giving the car the ability to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6 9 seconds. Meanwhile, the e-Skyactiv-D diesel engine produces 250 horsepower and torque with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.3 seconds. Both versions have a maximum speed of 219km/h.
Both engine versions are combined with Mazda’s all-new 8-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission that does not use a torque converter. Instead, the CX-60 uses an electronic multi-plate clutch center differential control system.
This system allows precise control of the M Hybrid Boost electric motor. The i-Activ AWD 4-wheel drive system is supported by Mazda’s Mi-Drive smart driving mode selection system, providing 4 different driving modes including: Normal Sport Off-Road and Towing.
