Overview of tuition fees and admission plans for the University of Medicine and Pharmacy

Latest announcement of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in 2023 the school adjusts tuition fees according to the provisions of Decree 81/2021/ND-CP of the Government.

Tuition fees were adjusted to increase by at least 30%, some fields even increased more than twice.

Specifically, the medical fields of Pharmacy and Dentistry – Face increased from 1.43 million VND to 3.5 million VND/month; Preventive Medicine and Traditional Medicine increased from 1.43 million VND to 3 million VND/month; Nursing and Medical Testing Technology increased from 1.43 million VND to 2.7 million VND/month.

Method 1: Admission is based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam for all majors. p>

Method 2: Direct admission according to Regulations enrollment of the Ministry of Education and Training for all majors.

Method 3: Consider high school academic results (transcripts) of grade 12 according to the combination of subjects registered for admission to the Nursing and Preventive Medicine major.

< em>Method 4: Use another method (admission of candidates who have completed the university preparatory program).

For methods 1 and 3, candidates are required to pass Guaranteed threshold according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. The total admission target of the University is over 1,200 targets.

According to the school, the training tuition fee is implemented in accordance with the provisions of Decree 81/2021/ND-CP of the Government.

The school considers admission by 3 methods: Reviewing high school graduation exam results; Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Early admission for candidates studying at ethnic university preparatory schools.

Group 2 includes 6 majors: Dental – Maxillofacial – Facial Medicine Department of Public Health Nutrition Medicine Nursing (training at Thanh Hoa branch) increased tuition to about 20 9 – 27 6 million VND/school year.

This year, Hanoi Medical University plans to enroll a total of 1,370 students for 10 training majors, an increase of 200 spots compared to 2022. Of which, the Medicine major recruits the most with 520 spots.

< p>In 2023, the Rehabilitation Engineering major will also begin enrolling students, with an expected enrollment of 50 candidates.

Hanoi Medical University applies 2 admission methods including:

Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi Medical University (no more than 25% of quota for each major). Admission is based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam, a combination of 3 exams: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology.

Only for the Medical major, Thanh Hoa Dental, Maxillofacial, and Facial Nursing branch ( advanced program) has an additional admission method combined with an international foreign language certificate.

Hanoi Medical University offers tuition fees for the transfer program in 2 forms of training: Studying during hours administrative 30 5 million VND/school year. Studying outside of office hours is 38,5 million VND/school year.

The school applies an increase in tuition for the following years according to the provisions of Article 31, Clause 3 of Decree 81 in 2021, increasing no more than 12 5%.

Hanoi University of Pharmacy is expected to charge tuition fees of 18 5 – 49 5 million VND/year for the two majors of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacy with traditional training, this level is higher than 4 2 and 10 2 million VND compared to the current level.

With the high quality system, the School of Pharmacy charges 49 5 million VND, higher than 4 5 million VND. Chemistry and Biotechnology are two new majors enrolling students since last year. Tuition fees are expected to remain the same at 13,5 million VND/year.

According to the admission project of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hanoi National University), the expected tuition fee in 2023 – 2024 increases sharply from 14 3 to 55 million VND/school year.

Specifically, the Medicine major – mass system has the highest tuition fee of 55 million VND/school year (an increase of 40 7 million VND compared to year 2022).

Pharmacy tuition is 51 million VND/year (an increase of 36,7 million compared to last year). The remaining sectors collected 27,6 million VND, an increase of 13,3 million VND.

This year, the school recruits regular students according to 6 methods: High school graduation exam results (accounting for 35% of each sector’s target)  results results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University (accounting for 35% of the target for each major) IELTS certificate or equivalent international English certificate (6% of the target).

The school also considers direct admission with priority admission according to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi National University considers university preparatory students (2% of target).

Notice from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy charges tuition fees for majors of about 41,8 – 77 million VND each year, increasing by 3,2 – 8 million VND.

University of Medicine and Pharmacy Can Tho expects to collect an average tuition fee of 37,6 million VND, an increase compared to the current rate of 24,6 million VND.

According toHanoi University of Business and Technology< /strong>Tuition fees for medical majors range from nearly 27 million VND/student/year to more than 83 million VND/student/year depending on the major.

Specifically, the tuition fee for the nursing and rehabilitation engineering majors Medical Laboratory Technology: 26 million VND/student/year; Pharmacy sector: 32 million VND/student/year.

For the Medicine and Dentistry – Maxillofacial majors only: Tuition is 150 million VND/student/year. However, for students enrolling in the first year (2023), tuition will be reduced by 50%, equivalent to 75 million VND/student/year.

From the 2nd year onwards, students in this major will receive a discount. 40% of tuition but not more than 5 years.
