Strangely, the twins who were born first became younger siblings

Couple Emily and Seth Peterson welcome two new members in family are Samuel and Ronan.

Samuel was born first but if according to the declaration Ronan was born first. This strange phenomenon is a result of daylight saving time (DST)

In the summer, clocks in some countries will be adjusted 1 hour higher than standard time because the summer sun rises early and sets late.

On November 6, baby Samuel was born at 1.39am and Ronan was born 31 minutes later. But daylight saving time ended that day, so the clocks were turned back from 2 a.m. to 1 a.m.

So when Ronan was born at 2:10 a.m., the clocks were turned back. was revised to 1:10 a.m., 29 minutes earlier than Samuel’s birth time.

“I figured that the two boys were either born on different days or that the time change would affect Seth’s birth time , the twins’ father said.

Deb Totten, a nurse at Cape Cod Hospital, said this was the first time she had witnessed this rare phenomenon in more than 40 years of work.
