Suzuki Ertiga has a record reduction of 120 million VND, the highest version is as cheap as a B-class car

In July, the Suzuki Ertiga hybrid was reduced by 70 million VND at the dealership. In August, many showrooms applied a general reduction of up to 100 million VND. There are even dealers in Ho Chi Minh City who are offering cars for sale with a discount of up to 120 million VND, bringing the car price to the lowest ever.

This promotion is for Suzuki Ertiga hybrid cars produced Exported in 2022 (VIN 2022). Compared to VIN 2023, VIN 2022 has no difference in equipment but is more likely to lose value when reselling.

After reducing the price of the highest version of the Suzuki Ertiga hybrid is lower than the starting price of some competitors in the same segment, for example like Toyota Avanza (558 million VND) or Mitsubishi Xpander (560 million VND). This price is even as cheap as some B-class sedans such as Toyota Vios (price from 479 million VND).

In the small MPV segment, many other car models are also racing with incentives. For example, Mitsubishi Xpander, despite regularly holding the number 1 position, is still supported by the distributor 50-100% of registration fees depending on the version, equivalent to a reduction of 28-65 8 million VND).

Toyota Veloz Cross is reduced by 30-40 million VND at some dealers. This car model also has a 50% reduction in registration fees thanks to domestic assembly, helping users save up to nearly 42 million VND.

In recent months, Suzuki Ertiga hybrid has continuously received strong discounts from dealers. Consumption has improved but not enough to escape the “bottom” of the small MPV segment.

In July, Ertiga’s sales grew thanks to big incentives but only sold 56 cars. Considering the first 7 months of 2023, this car model sold a total of 301 cars, not even equal to the odd number of Mitsubishi Xpander (10,568 cars).
