According to the initial investigation, Truong Tan Loc (born 2005, from An Giang) had an argument with Tran Chinh Minh (his background is unknown), so the two arranged to meet to talk.
Around 7:00 p.m. on April 2, Loc invited a group of social friends to ride on 8 motorbikes and bring along Homemade weapons came to the rendezvous point to find Minh’s group.
At the gate of Di An City Medical Center, Loc’s group met B.A.K. (born in 2008, from An Giang) drove a motorbike carrying T.C.N. (born in 2008, from Thua Thien Hue). Loc thought that both of them were in the same group as Minh, so he grabbed a weapon and chased them.
Due to high speed, K. and N.’s motorbike collided with The motorbike of two women carrying a child swerved across the street, causing K. and a woman to die; the remaining people were injured.
N. Loc’s group then ran to beat him, slashed him with a knife and left the scene.
At the police station, Loc’s group admitted the crime. The police also confiscated 3 homemade knives and 8 motorbikes that this group used to commit crimes.
