The female lead of “Way to the Flower Country” tells about her “trick” when applying for Theater – Cinema

Anh Dao is currently a young actress who is of interest to the audience when she plays the female lead named Thanh in movie “Way to the flower land”. Thanh is a girl with a strong personality but also has a thorny side.< /p>

Even though she is much younger than actor Manh Quan, in this movie Anh Dao plays the older sister of actor Manh Quan (the role of Storm).  In the movie, the character Thanh made the audience uncomfortable many times her straightforward toughness and especially her discriminatory attitude towards Loi (actor Trong Lan).

It is known that this is the first female lead role on screen for young actress Anh Dao.< /p>

In a conversation with reporter Dan Tri Anh Dao shared about his fate in this role and happy and sad memories from the first days of entering school. University of Theater – Cinema Hanoi:

Recently, Anh Dao has become more known for playing the role of Thanh in the movie “Way to the Flower Country”. Has your life changed after becoming more known to the audience?

– “Way to the Flower Country” is a special movie in my acting career. Thanh is my first female lead role on screen and I am lucky to receive love from the audience.

To say that If I’m famous, I think I’m not. The audience still only remembers the name Thanh, the name of the character I play, and my name in real life is probably a small number of viewers who remember it. I think it’s also a success when my role is remembered.

Furthermore, the epidemic is complicated, so every time I go out, I cover up. Maybe that’s why it’s difficult for the audience to recognize me when they meet me in real life. Actor Trong Lan once teased me: “You have to take off your mask to enjoy the feeling of being recognized by the audience.” (laughs).

I know Mr. Lan was joking, but If one day while walking on the road and being recognized by the audience, it would be very happy. Being loved and remembered by the audience is what every actor wants!

After filming ended, it seemed like your relationship with actor Trong Lan was quite close? Is Trong Lan Anh Dao’s “first love” on screen?

– Not only actor Trong Lan but also the film crew “Way to the Flower Country” They all consider each other as family. For me, Mr. Trong Lan is not only a co-star but also a senior who helps me a lot during my work. Trong Lan may look cold, but he is also an approachable, cheerful, affectionate person who cares for everyone in the film crew.

Nhu Anh Dao shared that the role of Thanh is her first leading role, so everything for me is almost a “first time”. Before that, I also played a supporting role as the close younger brother of Minh HH (actor Luong Thu Trang) in the movie “Sunflower Against the Sun” but few audiences remembered her face because the role was small.

This time I was paired with Mr. Trong Lan, who is truly my “first love” in the movie. Mr. Trong Lan has previously acted with many other female actors, so he has more experience than me. During filming, he also taught me many things and helped me complete this role.

As the most popular couple on screen, Anh Dao and Trong Lan must have shared many memories during the filming process. Especially the scene where Trong Lan is pushed into the lake by Anh Dao in the first episodes?

– There are many shared memories between Trong Lan and I, but perhaps the most memorable is the movie scene you just mentioned. That was also the first movie scene for both Trong Lan and I. Before that, the two brothers had not had the opportunity to get to know each other or work together.

But in the first scene, I had to both slap and kiss Trong Lan, so I was quite confused. But fortunately, Mr. Lan and I agreed to “slap seriously and kiss urgently” to complete the first scene in the most effective way.

In the scene, I also had to push Trong Lan into the lake, but Trong Lan only had one set of clothes, so I had to shoot in one take to achieve that scene, which was truly memorable for me.

Trong Lan is Anh Dao’s “first love” on screen, so does Anh Dao have a relationship in real life?

– Currently, I am still focusing on my work. I want the audience to know me more through my roles instead of my personal love story. Later, when I’m ready, I will share my own happiness with the audience.

Anh Dao was born into a family where no one followed the arts. Did your path to acting encounter many difficult challenges?

– When it comes to acting, I think everyone will encounter certain challenges and difficulties, not just me, just those who are lucky enough and put in more effort to follow. only profession. No one in my family is into art and our family situation is quite normal.

Finished class 12 I registered for two university entrance exams, one was the Pedagogical School and the other was the Hanoi Theater and Cinema School. Luckily, I passed both. At first, I was wondering which major I should study. If I studied pedagogy, my parents wouldn’t have to worry about tuition, but studying theater would give me the opportunity to challenge myself.

I thought a lot. Deciding to study at the University of Theater and Cinema, I now feel lucky because I made the right decision.

Do you still remember the first day you attended the University of Theater and Cinema?

– Yes! I vividly remember the day I went from Bac Giang to Hanoi to participate in the aptitude test. Before that day, I had read the school’s requirements regarding exam attire: contestants must dress neatly and not be too flashy.

I think the school asked me to dress simply to show my most natural features. The day I went to school to take the exam, I only wore a white shirt with blue jeans and simple sneakers.

But when I stepped foot into the gate of Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema, it was like I had just received a “trick”. All of you were very radiant and beautiful, dressed neatly, and some of you even wore very pretty dresses. At that time, looking back at myself, I was quite self-conscious but still determined to complete the aptitude test in the best way. Finally luck smiled and I passed the university entrance exam.

The first day I entered the school, I felt self-conscious in front of my friends, so what was Anh Dao like as a student when she studied at the University of Theater and Cinema?

– Honestly, in the beginning, I was very shy to talk to my classmates. I had low self-esteem because I came from the countryside, so I closed myself off. Later, my close friends and teachers pulled me closer so I talked to everyone and understood more about my friends during the learning process, so my student days were very memorable.

But I’m also quite timid. Even during my studies, I doubted whether I could pursue acting or not.

So what was the push that turned the “timid and self-conscious” student into the beloved on-screen actress she is today?

– I think everyone’s journey has decisive moments: one is to become discouraged and put aside one’s career, and two is to make a breakthrough to continue pursuing the path one chooses. Me too, around my third year of college, I heard that my father was seriously ill and that I would probably have to drop out of school because my parents would not be able to take care of me continuing my acting career.

But I didn’t give up when my father got sick, I thought I had to pursue the path I had chosen at all costs. I decided to no longer rely on my parents and become independent by finding a part-time job to take care of my life and pay my tuition.

The first days of work after graduating from school It’s not yet stable and everything is unclear to me. Sometimes I only have 20,000 VND left in my pocket and I don’t know whether to spend that money on gas or breakfast. Sometimes I wonder why I have to be so stubborn and sometimes feel weak and feel sorry for myself.

But now when I look back at that time, I feel very grateful that without those challenges, how could I be as strong as I am now? I know what I go through may be nothing compared to others, but overcoming yourself is also very valuable, isn’t it?

Surely the film salary at the present time has helped Anh Dao have a more prosperous life?

– To be honest, being an actor requires a lot of money to invest in the appearance of clothes… So the salary you receive from making movies is only It’s enough for me to cover my living expenses, but it’s not enough to say I have enough.

I think that when making art you have to give more and then the sweet fruit will be received, sooner or later. At this time, I am not an excellent actor with a strong impression in the hearts of the audience, but I hope I will have more opportunities to contribute to art and receive support from the audience.

Thank you actor Anh Dao for the conversation!
