At over 40, artist Quế Trân leads a private life, yet she remains deeply committed to the stage, garnering immense love from her audience.
– Recently, Quế Trân (born in 1981) made headlines when she was named among the artists awarded the title of People’s Artist (NSND), making her the youngest cải lương artist to receive this prestigious honor.
– Many have congratulated the artist, and some believe that it was only a matter of time before she received this recognition, given her longstanding fame in cải lương and her heritage as the daughter of the late NSND Thanh Tòng, known as the “King of Cải Lương” in Vietnam.
– Coming from a long line of artists, as the fifth generation of the Bầu Thắng – Minh Tơ opera family, Quế Trân was introduced to cải lương and the stage from a very young age.
