Top 10 most expensive new cars in the world today

The list below is filtered from more than 50 cars priced at over 1 million USD, and are new cars, not counting auction cars like the Ferrari 250 GTO or high-priced surfers. 

10. Bugatti Mistral: 5 million USD

Bugatti Mistral is equipped with a W16 engine with 1,577 horsepower and has no roof. Bugatti plans to produce only 99 units with a selling price of about 5 million USD in the US. Currently, all of these cars, even though they have not yet been produced, have been ordered by customers.

9. Pagani Huayra Imola: 5 4 million USD

Although the rookie Utopia is an important milestone for Pagani, the Huayra Imola also possesses equal power – 827 horsepower and 811Nm. This power comes from a 6.0L twin-turbo V12 engine.

Huayra Imola is Pagani’s second most expensive model.

8. Bugatti Divo – 5 8 million USD

Although it has many things in common with the Chiron, the Divo model has its plus points to be priced higher. By using lighter rims than the carbon fiber radiator and removing some soundproofing materials, Bugatti has made the Divo 35kg lighter than the Chiron.

Engine capacity is the same as Chiron – 1,500 horsepower but Divo has a different aerodynamic structure, so it runs a full lap of the Nardo test track 8 seconds faster than the Chiron. 

7. SP Automotive Chaos – 6 4  million USD

Launched in 2004, the Mercedes-Maybach Exelero was made to order from German tire company Fulda to test new high-performance tires.

Exelero is developed based on a Maybach SW 38 using a twin-turbo V12 engine for 690 horsepower and 1,020Nm of torque. Only one Exelero was produced and it is currently owned by rap star Jay-Z.

4. Bugatti Centodieci – 9 million USD

The Centodieci masterpiece was designed to celebrate Bugatti’s 110th anniversary and only 10 units were produced. One of the people who has won the right to own this extremely rare supercar is soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Centodieci is developed based on the Chiron but borrows some design details from the EB110 model, including a small horseshoe-shaped grille. Like other new Bugatti cars, the Centodieci model has extremely impressive speed; It takes just 2 4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h and has an electronically limited top speed of 380km/h. 

3. Rolls-Royce Sweptail – 12 8 million USD

Sweptail is a creative combination of design details. Designs taken from old Rolls-Royce coupes such as the curved roof line inspired by the Phantom II Streamline Saloon combined with contemporary designs such as a glass roof spanning the entire length.

2. Bugatti La Voiture Noire – 13 4 million USD

With a selling price of 13,4 million USD, Bugatti La Voiture Noire is the most expensive car model in the history of the French brand. This car model reminds of the super product Type 57 SC Atlantic that Bugatti introduced in 2009.

The car is equipped with an 8.0L W16 engine with 4 turbochargers for a capacity of 1,479 horsepower .

The car body is handcrafted from carbon fiber material with a seamless design like a flow that is both strong and soft. The front bumper and body blend into one while the window design is inspired by helmet visors with the windshield seemingly connecting to the windows.

1. Rolls-Royce Boat Tail – 28 million USD

Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is a product of Rolls -Royce Coachbuilt with inspiration from the ocean. Accordingly, the rear trunk lid is made of Caleidolegno wood with two flaps that flip up like butterfly wings, hinged running along the middle, opening up the space below to contain everything necessary for a premium dinner.

< p>Inside the car, the central screen has a border that evokes the image of a ship’s cockpit and many other details that bring the breath of the ocean. On the minimalist style dashboard of the Boat Tail version, two Swiss Bovet 1822s are installed.
