Tung Duong “The Judge”: “I was once slapped in the face by an old lady”

Tung Duong’s full name is Nguyen Do Tung Duong, born in 1969 in Hanoi. He started participating in the field film photos from 1994.

For Tung Duong, acting has many interesting things that not every profession has. The actor shared that his acting career has brought him many experiences, allowing him to live with many destinies and transform into many characters with different personalities.

When he first started his career, Tung Duong was assigned to play the role His first leading role was in the movie Hue’s Life in 1994. After that, for 5-6 years, he continued to take on other leading roles, but they were lackluster and did not leave an impression on the audience. The actor himself also admitted that he is not suitable for this type of character.

“Many times I sit in front of the mirror and wonder where my face is evil while I see that my face is also evil. Very kind. But many directors consider me suitable for the role of a scheming and cunning person. Many viewers say that when they turn on the TV and watch the movie, they immediately know that I’m playing the evil role, even if I’m a human If something is good, it will become bad later” Tung Duong confided.

The actor born in 1969 has no intention of returning to leading roles. He said that after many years of working, he loves villains because of their multidimensionality. Despite possessing a huge film fortune, Tung Duong is not proud of any role. He said every time he looks back, he feels like he didn’t do it completely. “After each role, if I have the opportunity to play it again, I will do it better,” he confided.

Tung Duong opens up about the character Tran Long in the movie Silent River which is his most impressive role and also em> brought me many unforgettable memories.

The actor said: “During filming in a village on the outskirts of Hue City, I acted in a scene holding a gun to my head. shot the Viet Cong soldiers captured in the basement and there were many people standing around watching. Suddenly, an old woman about 80 years old came straight into the studio and slapped me in the face.”

Later, Tung Duong learned that this was a heroic Vietnamese mother whose 7 children died in the war. . “The crew explained that this was just filming. He said that he still knew how to act, but because he looked at me, he hated acting so evil. That is a very memorable memory for me,” said the actor born in 1969.

In everyday life, Tung Duong admitted that his personality is inconsistent. “I find myself sometimes quiet and sometimes sad. talk a lot. I’m a straightforward person with a bit of sentimentality and a bit of humor,” the actor commented about himself. Self-identified as someone who doesn’t have much experience, Tung Duong is not afraid to observe and learn so he can put it in the movie. I’m very shy in real life, not like the gangster in the movies. I have to research to practice and do well,” he said.

Currently, Tung Duong has retired and does not pursue an acting career. He said that because he had health problems, the doctor advised him not to pursue the profession. Even though he accepts his fate, Tung Duong still regrets not being able to try out a multi-personality role.

In a previous interview with reporter Dan Tri Tung Duong once shared that in the past he received many movie invitations but refused them all. Partly because those characters are nothing new compared to the roles he has played before and importantly, he is focusing his expertise on writing television scripts – his current job is Tung’s passion. “I stay up very late because my creative energy often thrives.” During that time, I feel like at 10:00 p.m. I work very efficiently and have a clear mind, so I often go to bed late and wake up at 9:00 a.m. I will start working and then take a one-hour lunch break half hour and then continue working. But I think I need to gradually change this routine because it’s not good for my health.

I also spend time meditating… It into a regular cycle and I create my own inspiration to make my life less boring” Tung Duong said.
