What documents are needed for people from other provinces to come to Hanoi for medical treatment during quarantine?

On July 29, 2021, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 2434/UBND-KT on unify the form of documents used for a number of subjects eligible to travel in the city during the period of social distancing.

In the case of your family, in section 2.5 of the official dispatch No. 2434/UBND-KT clearly stated:

People in other provinces taking/picking up patients for medical examination and treatment at medical examination and treatment facilities in the city need to prepare: Citizen identification card and valid passport. Negative test result of SARS-CoV2 virus by PCR method (valid within 03 days).

For patients, medical records or hospital discharge papers must be available; entry and exit schedules; departure and arrival locations to control the process of participating in traffic in the city.

In addition, you should note: Hanoi is implementing social distancing according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister. All types of transport services (bus taxis…) should be banned from operating. Therefore, people going/coming to Hanoi City must have a personal vehicle.

If all of the above conditions are met, the control force at the checkpoint will specifically consider allowing you to enter Hanoi. Note that only medical examiners and accompanying drivers are allowed to enter Hanoi. Drivers must also ensure procedures for medical declaration documents and testing according to the above regulations.
