I was cursed a lot by the audience
Many artists said that after retiring they felt very disappointed, but People’s Artist Nguyen Hai did. What?
– I’ve been retired for 4 years. Honestly, after retiring, I had 5 times more work than when I was working. In 2019, when I just retired, I did film Quynh Doll after this movie, I made Undercover Storm recently I went to Ho Chi Minh City to make the movie Cobra 86 episodes and short films for VTC VTV2 and a few theatrical films for young directors.
I am also a lawyer specializing in free legal advice for people Opening an education center, I occasionally teach film clubs at some filmmaking experience centers. In addition, I also participate in the program Nhui Cau in Nam Dinh many volunteer programs in Lai Chau Ha Giang… Honestly, I travel so much that I don’t have time to rest.
The audience has not yet imagined what it would be like for People’s Artist Nguyen Hai to be a lawyer?
– I studied law before working at The People’s Public Security Theater Troupe then went to the Judicial Academy to complete a certificate and have a law practice card, so when I retired, I had the opportunity to work in a profession and help many people in need of legal aid. Even when I was working or retired, I cultivated the kindness of preserving everything from a young age. Don’t think that if you are a People’s Artist, you can do whatever you want. Everything has to be neat, don’t rely on fame to do ridiculous things.
When I was a lawyer, I advised very carefully. My principle is not to promise anything, but on the basis of the provisions of the law to equip people with the most accurate knowledge.
Work is so busy, how do you arrange your time? How can I spend time with my wife and children?
– I try to eat with my wife and children as much as possible. Sometimes when I’m at work, I suddenly remember: I haven’t had a meal with my family this week, so I feel guilty.
But my wife doesn’t blame me for that because she was also in the same acting class, first term. University of Theater cinema Hanoi with People’s Artist Minh Hoa Meritorious Artist Bich Thuy Meritorious Artist Quoc Tuan… later switched to teaching music so she sympathized with her husband’s work.
I also told myself not to He must be someone who needs money so much that he should abstain and only do the things he likes to be closer to his family.
< em>Many people say that People’s Artist Nguyen Hai looks very serious and unapproachable. What kind of person do you consider yourself to be?
– I am an honest and open person. If anyone looks at the form and guesses the “content”, let them be. I’ve been scolded and picked on so much that things don’t bother me anymore. Nguyen Hai always feels grateful to his parents for being born with this shape. I’m satisfied with what I have because it’s my face that makes an impression as a villain?
Someone patted me. My role said they were willing to invest in me having a cosmetic surgery to make my “front” look more beautiful so I could play the main character. But I refused because there are many people who have done frontal work and now “rebuild” their stiff, broken faces, combined with old age and flabby muscles, what will I look like? Well, let your parents be born like that.
When you receive messages with curses and comments about you, how do you react?
– I get scolded a lot on the street and on social networks. In the 4.0 technology era, young people are very proficient in using applications and “cursing” at characters online a lot. If we use the word “vulgar”, it’s harsh, but if we say they lack culture is that too much?
I often block negative messages sent to me. Well, I’m old and I’m not suitable for such extreme words.
My family has 3 generations living together
What kind of father are you in your family?
– I am a very serious Confucian father. I have a wife and two children. The eldest son, born in 1988, studied abroad in the UK and is now a police captain. The youngest daughter, born in 1994, just got married. I have become a grandfather and grandfather.
My family is a three-generation family (three generations living together – PV), all the children get married and live in my house. I live on the 2nd floor and the children live on the 3rd and 4th floors.
He has principles with so many children and grandchildren living together to keep order in the family?
– My family lives in a small alley on Kim Nguu street (Hanoi) and the house is small, only 41m2. But we’re not afraid of a cramped house, we’re just afraid of our small stomachs not caring about each other. I have a principle that my children, including my daughter-in-law, must love each other with all our hearts, and that our grandchildren will be treated equally.
You must patiently look at each other and live. The eldest son will be the eldest brother to direct and guide the younger siblings in the house. If there are any problems that cannot be resolved, ask their parents for advice. If parents cannot decide, then have a family meeting. But fortunately, my family has not had any internal meetings yet (laughs).
I am proud that my children have their own culture and that they all come back from studying abroad so they treat each other in a civilized manner.
Often, young people, after getting married, are very hesitant about living with their parents. Have your children ever wanted to live on their own?
– I used to let them live on their own, but they always said “wherever you go, I’ll stay there”. To be honest, I don’t lack any land or house, so I sold some of it, but my children want to live together, not because I can’t afford it. My house is small but cozy.
I bring both Western and Japanese guests to my house. My family values respect from above and below. My father is now 99 years old and still lives in Nam Dinh. He lives in a 4,000 square meter campus with a maid taking care of him every day. Whenever I have free time, I come back to visit him. Every day when he can’t come back, I video call him to see how he is doing.
The children want to take him to Hanoi to stay, but he doesn’t agree. Just come and visit in the morning. In the afternoon, he asked to come home again, so I had to indulge him.
The audience can imagine What will you do when People’s Artist Nguyen Hai takes office?
– I spoil my children and grandchildren very much. One time I said, “Dad, babysit me for 2 hours so we can go see a movie.” Yet the children did not return until 4 hours later. But it’s okay, I take care of him very well. The two children loved the gentleman lying next to them and kept babbling and talking to him.
I also personally mixed milk for him to drink to lull him to sleep if his parents had not yet returned from work. Playing with my grandchildren makes me feel younger.
People say you are rich and own a lot of real estate, do you admit that you are a tycoon?
– No, I’m just a romantic artist. Rich people are extremely rich. Some people own 1,000 billion and still see it as little, but what about someone who saves 1 billion and feels big? That is each person’s perception. What matters is your basic culture. Having money but also needing a cultural background. If you want to live peacefully, keep everything simple, don’t worry about money, rich or poor.
Is your wife jealous? Because male artists often act with young and beautiful actors, will there be times when you feel heartbroken?
– All women are jealous, but they are only jealous at an acceptable level. It’s okay to assert sovereignty. If you are too jealous, it will backfire and cause serious consequences. So jealousy must be cultural.
My wife never controls her husband’s phone. But when I go out, I’m still as nervous as I am. When she goes out, I’m also very nervous.
I’m proud to have a thoughtful wife and 2 well-behaved children who are healthy and obedient to others. big. Whenever I come home from work and see my loved ones happily welcoming me with a hot tray of rice, I feel happy and don’t need anything more!
